Between 1969 and 1971 there was one small parking lot next to the library and a small cafeteria. There were only three buildings, but one was not finished. The surrounding area was nothing but wilderness. It was beautiful. One day, when I was leaving, I went to get into my 1969 MGB-GT, only to find that it was sandblasted and the left side was completely ruined! -Mel Hernandez, '70.
