The Student Ambassadors Society (SAS) is an honorary service organization which recognizes excellence among student leaders and promotes their continued development as citizens of the campus and the broader community. SAS members, a select group of CSUSB students who have distinguished themselves through academic achievement and/or demonstrated leadership, work closely with the Office of the President, the Office of Alumni Affairs, and the Division of University Advancement, representing CSUSB and its students at events and meetings involving alumni, donors, legislators, trustees, and other distinguished guests.

SAS is a fun way to be involved as a student at Cal State. Students have the opportunity to interact with the campus leadership, meet business and community leaders, build their resumes and expand their career networks, and meet other outstanding students—all while learning the necessary skills to succeed as a student leader and in life after college. Additionally, SAS members who contribute 40 or more hours of their time during their participation in the organization are presented with a medallion to be worn at graduation.
