A small group of CSUSB Retirees Association members and their guests enjoyed a warm spring Southern California afternoon touring the original Sam and Alfreda Maloof Residence and Garden on May 21.

They gathered for refreshments prior to the tour, taking in the surroundings of olive trees and Sam’s lesser known collection of bells and weathervenes. |
The one-and-a-half hour tour took the group through the original residence, where Sam's more well-known collection of fine art and hand-crafted wood furniture is on display. The tour concluded with an opportunity to sit in a Maloof rocking chair constructed out of pale maple.
